This project began as a collaboration with a distillery based in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec, a region they proudly call home. Deeply rooted in local culture and committed to using regional ingredients, the distillery wanted their first line of pre-mixed cocktails to visually celebrate the activities that define life in the area.

For the initial launch, I illustrated a series of labels inspired by beloved summer pastimes and regional staples: fishing, canoeing, and hiking. The success of this first round led to a second commission for a winter-featured cocktail, where I focused on snowsports—an essential part of Quebec’s winter culture.

Most recently, I was invited back to create two additional illustrations for their summer lineup, highlighting biking and pétanque, both popular warm-weather activities in the region.

As someone born and raised in Saguenay, this project was especially meaningful. Each illustration was a chance to translate personal memories and regional pride into visuals that feel authentic, nostalgic, and celebratory—capturing the spirit of a place I know intimately.
